Linux Administration: From Beginner to Production-Ready Servers

About Course

This course provides a practical, step-by-step introduction to Linux administration, taking learners from basic command-line skills to advanced server management and troubleshooting.

It covers Linux distributions, filesystem navigation, file management, users and groups, permissions, package management, processes, systemd services, logs, storage, networking, SSH, firewalls, cron jobs, Bash scripting, databases, monitoring, and memory management.

As learners progress, the course moves into advanced Linux administration topics such as performance troubleshooting, kernel tuning, packet capture, server hardening, SELinux and AppArmor, auditing, backup and disaster recovery, Ansible automation, HTTPS configuration, containers, and Linux boot recovery.

The course is designed around practical administration tasks and real server scenarios, helping learners understand not just which commands to use, but also why and when to use them. By the end, learners should have a strong foundation for managing Linux-based servers and continuing into areas such as cloud computing, DevOps, system administration, and infrastructure engineering.
